Comments: This is my daily commuter allowing me to choose road or trails and any mixture of either on the way to the office. It’s fast and feels planted on the trails, just upgraded to some new wheels. Turns out you can’t get good quality green anodised 16mm nipples these days, so I ended up hand painting mine. Beyond the essential Chris King parts it’s not a glamour build – this is everyday kit that does the job and works well. I love the standover height and chuckability of the Deluxe chassis in this application and there’s loads of room for cross tyres too. This bike has rekindled my Independent Fabrication mojo.
