Comments: I bought the frame as NOS from eBay. Then over the last year, I’ve slowly acquired the components/parts to have it built up. Took it out this past weekend and couldn’t be more happy. The frame/bike fits and ride exactly how i’d imagined.

Yeah, I can understand why. Those parts you hung off it are the bees knees. Geesh! Crush it man.
Some i-spec mounts would integrate those brakes into the shifter lever clamp, and clean up the handlebar lickety-split. Check ’em out. That’s like the only thing I would do to this magic carpet ride/xtr dream machine.
+1 on the i-spec suggestion. it was something that I had to compromise when trying to finish the build. i-spec just wasn’t available at the store and i got impatient. eventually, i’ll replace them.
took it out on a hill i normally train on again earlier this evening and man it handles just beautifully both on the ascend and descend. xtr shifting is so precise and fast. sure makes my job easier.
