Nice bike. I just ordered a ti 29er roadster with the same fork. Should be coming this wednesday. Can’t wait!

What size is your seat tube by the way?

Tony thanks, IF has not changed the sizing on the actual tubing, however they have gone to using the inserts so that all the new frames will use the 27.2 seat post. Threw me for a loop as I was all ready with my 29.4…not anymore bay-bee!

So unless the roadster is different, you are going to need a 27.2 post.

If that is not what you meant let me know.

Sorry. I meant seat tube length. Thanks

The seat tube is 15.75 with a 24.2 TT.

A bit longer then my 26ers in the past, but fits fantastically. it has a 110mm stem on it and we designed it around a 100, so waiting on that.

Hi Dave, your bikes are inspiring me again and this time it’s to build up a custom one for the wife. I love this one of yours and it looks and feels like it lets you float and fly at the same time. I wanted to know which fork you used? My wife is 5’4″ and will be getting a steel deluxe with 26inch wheels. Kevin is going to pimp it out so she can have either a ridged fork or fox. I am sure you have ridden your bikes with both and if you can comment on the ride that would be great. She will be using it for neighborhood rides to the park and at our hike/bike trails. I want to start out by putting some Nitto B302 All Rounder Bar on it, some Enve Wheels and a Rohloff. She likes it simple and casual. But I also want the bike to grow with her as she gets more comfortable riding or the kiddo’s can ride it as they get older. So having the option to put on a fox fork is great. Any way I would love to talk on the phone with you about building the perfect bike for her if you might have some time. Just e-mail and I’ll call you back. Thanks again – ryan@workpod9.com
