Some of you may already know that there is an Independent Fabrication entry on Wikipedia. On the 1st July the Independent Fabrication article was earmarked for deletion because it wasn’t robust enough in terms of content and references to claims made. I spent some time putting in some detail, although there are a few gaps that need filling.

As part of this I have mentioned how IF came to earn the right to use the rainbow stripes, due to an amazing time trial performance in St Johann, Austria. Off the back of this I put together a page on the rider who took this important victory – Giana Roberge too.

It’s missing a lot of detail that can probably only be added by others. I researched the web quite extensively to put together what’s there, but there are a lot of gaps. I have loosely modelled the structure on the Lance Armstrong entry. In my reckoning Giana deserves something equally good.

If you have time to add some content (or email me with some details) and any web links, book entries or magazine articles, that would be great!

Hey, thanks for putting some work into the wiki page. I’ve been working on it off and on for about a year now. It’s starting to look pretty good. I’d like to fill in more of the history I think if we did that we could move it from a start class to a good article. It would be awesome if we could get it to a featured article.
