Comments: I bought the frame off craigslist from the original owner. It’s a first year IF which he bought new when his Yo Eddy got stolen. I happened to still have my mtn bike which I bought new in 1995, and was able to build this up using mostly original “retro” parts… Deore XT shifters and V-brakes, Kooka crankset, Actiontec Ti chainrings, Chris King Hubs with Mavic 517 rims. I splurged on a pair of closeout carbon bars. It’s an 8 speed… reminds me of when I was a good mtn biker!
