Comments: I was going for the look and workings of a traditional light-touring/ randonneuring bike, but with a modern, more responsive geometry. I also own a ’99 Independence.
[As a result this Club Racer is fairly unique with its cantilever brakes, unique placement of the new script type IF logo, and arrow-head lugs on the S&S Couplings which was an IF modification – Ed.]
